This Crepe Paper Banksia workshop is a 100% original work by our instructor Dear. It has taken her many hours of flower observation, to design and replicate the intricate details of the Banksia flower with paper.

Those of you with a keen eye will notice that there’s nothing quite like this commercially because of the high level of detail and delicacy that doesn't translate well into mass-manufacture, so you can be assured your labor of love will enjoy the, intended, stand-out originality that's signature of our Australian Native Series, and is a new addition to the paper flower craft community.

In this workshop we will journey together to create a Banksia flower with Italian crepe paper.

On a more technical level, there are nuances with how to handle soft, textured paper like Italian crepe, so you'll also be learning some new techniques on how to work with crepe paper and be guided on methods specific to making the flower.
